VILLA VESUVIO

Split Level Private Villa with Pool
Sant'Agata sui due Golfi

3 double bedrooms, 2 twin rooms, 1 double sofa bed, 5.5 bathrooms
Sleeps 12

Villa Vesuvio is located on the hillside of the Sorrento coastline, only 800m from the quaint village of Sant’Agata. Recently renovated, this luxury villa blends antique Italian décor with contemporary design and enjoys one of the most spectacular views across the Bay of Naples to Mount Vesuvius.

The villa is split over 3 levels and can accommodate up to 10-12 people. It includes 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin/double bedroom, 2 twin rooms with spacious bunk beds, 1 double sofa bed and 5 bathrooms (2 of which are ensuites).

Built from volcanic rock (tufo) and architecturally designed and decorated, Villa Vesuvio is the ideal place for a group of families or friends in search of peace and tranquility in an authentic south Italian setting.

This magnificent independent villa is engulfed by 2000sqm of lush Mediterranean gardens with olive groves and other native flora typical of the area. There are two separate terraces on the upper and lower levels, and an above ground pool (5m x 8m) with level deck and a garden terrace with a semi-enclosed outdoor kitchen equipped with Argentinian style BBQ and woodfire pizza oven.

Surrounded by English lawns you will have ample opportunity to sit back relax and soak up the southern Italian sun or view of Mount Vesuvio from one of three outdoor terraces while dining al fresco.

Villa Vesuvio is ideal for small or large groups, families or for those seeking space, luxury, comfort and tranquillity in a Mediterranean setting, yet still within close proximity to all basic amenities and exclusive destinations such as Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Capri.

The Main Villa
The main villa is set over two and a half levels and can accommodate up to 6 people. It consists of 3 roomy bedrooms – a master bedroom , a twin/double bedroom and a spacious double bunk bed,  an open-plan living and dining, separate living and TV room, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and private terrace areas with spectacular views of the Gulf of Naples.

Ground Floor
The entrance to the villa can be likened to that of entering an art gallery with its superb contemporary and classical paintings. The open-plan living and dining areas flows out to a sundrenched private terrace with breathtaking views of Mount Vesuvius. It is the perfect setting to sip on a cocktail while savouring the sunset over the Mediterranean.  The large kitchen with island bench is fully equipped for the avid chef and includes a 6 burner gas stove, dishwasher, fridge and all necessary cooking utensils. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small wash room with washing machine, iron, ironing board and wash area. Through the arched doorway which wraps around the outdoor terrace lies a formal dining area and a very cosy second living/TV room set on a lower level with exposed volcanic rock (tufo) walls.

First Floor
Located on the upper level of the villa are 3 good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom offers ample wardrobe and storage space and features a Juliette balcony with spectacular views of Mount Vesuvius. There is a large ensuite with walk-in shower, wash basin, toilet, bidet and hair dryer.   The other two rooms are generous in size and also have extensive cupboard and storage space. One room can be prepared as a double/twin room while the other room offers a spacious made-to-measure bunk bed which opens out onto a large panoramic terrace. The third bathroom is located on this level.

The Annex (Lower Level two-bedroom Apartment)
Located on the ground level, with separate entrance, is a self-contained two-bedroom apartment. It includes an open plan living-dining area, fully equipped kitchen, large double bedroom with ensuite and opens out onto a garden sunroom and outdoor terrace. The second bedroom occupies a large made-to-measure bunk bed with separate bathroom. All rooms have ample cupboard space and centralised air-conditioning/heating throughout.

Studio Annex

Upon request, an independent studio can be made available. With independent access from the main entrance, this small studio with double sofa bed and ensuite is available for additional guests or as a separate abode for an in-house maid service.
