If you are looking for a private retreat in an authentic South Italian country setting for your family holiday, then Villa de Flores is the ideal home.

Expanding 3 levels with 700 sqm of surrounding gardens and terraced balconies, the villa boasts an independent studio and one-bedroom apartment on the ground floor, and a two-storey villa located on the two upper levels.

The home offers space and privacy accommodating up to 12 guests across five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The main villa is artfully designed over two levels and offers a perfect meld of indoor and outdoor living with vast open spaces lending itself to both entertaining and intimacy.

The Space
Enter your own secluded slice of paradise with a private driveway and parking for up to 2 small vehicles. The street leading up to the villa is narrow, so we recommend the use of a small-medium sized car to access the property.

There are two entrances to the villa. The basement entrance leads to a furnished outdoor patio perfectly positioned under the Mediterranean grape vines. From here, you have direct access to an independent studio with double bed and ensuite bathroom, and adjacent 1-bedroom apartment complete with open plan living, dining, kitchenette and separate bathroom.

The main villa is designed across two levels with its prized north-easterly aspect, each floor is bathed in natural light and embraces the indoor-outdoor lifestyle, synonymous with the surrounding coastal region. The main villa houses 3-double bedrooms and one double sofabed.

Upon entering the main entrance, you are welcomed with a spacious and open-plan living and dining room which opens onto a large terrace. With an emphasis on bringing people together, an 8-12 person dining setting takes centre stage. The living is complete with two large lounges that open onto an outdoor patio which takes you to the pool deck, jacuzzi (NOT HEATED) and woodfired pizza oven and BBQ area. This space offers an ambient setting to unwind together and enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean landscape. On this level, you will also find one double-bedroom, a guest bathroom and separate eat-in kitchen.

The kitchen is traditional in style and features all the necessary equipment and utensils to prepare a homely meal including oven, 4-hob gas cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and an array of electrical appliances. The kitchen opens onto a lovely furnished and shaded terrace, the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee.

By way of internal staircase, you will reach the second floor, and main sleeping quarters of the villa. The spacious second living/games room is full of natural light and furnished with a two-seater lounge (with double sofa-bed option) and gaming table. Two sets of double doors open from the lounge room onto a large terrace with spectacular views of Capri Island and the surrounding countryside. The terrace is comfortably furnished with an outdoor dining set, perfect for alfresco dining on a balmy summer night.

The two main bedrooms are located on the second level and are complete with double bed, large wardrobe and ensuite bathrooms and access to the top floor terrace and/or Juliette balcony. In addition, the upper-level houses another main guest bathroom, with wash basin and bathtub fitted with shower.

Glass doors invite you to step outside to the covered alfresco area, with a generous lounge setting to enjoy early evening drinks.

The shaded alfresco dining areas, swimming lounge furnishings, gardens and outdoor BBQ and woodfired pizza oven area are perfect entertaining spaces and the ideal setting for our home chef service.

Split system air conditioning is installed in all bedrooms which will ensure you feel comfortable all year round.

Location & Access
The easiest way to reach the villa and move around the area is by car. We are also able to arrange transfers if needed.

The villa is in an excellent location with the small hamlet of Sant’Agata located only 2,5km from the villa. Here, you will find your basic essentials including supermarkets, delicatessens, pharmacy, butcher, café bar, restaurants, newsagency, post office and local bus services to Sorrento or Marina del Cantone beach. The world renowned and Michelin hatted restaurant ‘Don Alfonso’, is also located in this little hamlet.

Villa de Flores is the perfect base to explore the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts’ natural and historical treasures with Sorrento historical centre (10 km), Positano (15km), Amalfi (30 km), Ravello (35 km), Pompei (30 km) and Naples (60 km) within easy reach of the villa. Day trips to Capri Island operate from the nearby marina and fishing village of Marina del Cantone.

SECURITY DEPOSIT 
A security/ damage deposit of €500 is required to cover accidental damage to the property during your stay. The security deposit is a refundable deposit processed with a credit card pre-authorisation which will be refunded/unblocked following your stay. This deposit relates to both the damage to property and/or furnishings and the state and condition in which the actual property is left at check-out.

• Housekeeping and linen change are provided once midweek for stays of 7 nights or more
• A local tourist tax applies to guests aged 18+ for up to 7 nights. This is not included in the rental fee and must be paid in cash to your host at check-in
