Embracing the hills of the Mediterranean countryside, this traditional country style villa is surrounded by olive groves and perched high up on the hillside of the quaint village of Sant’Agata.

Comfortably accommodating up to 7 people, the villa enjoys an above ground swimming pool equipped with sun chairs, hammock, and al fresco dining area with BBQ and wood-fired pizza oven and separate billiard room.

Light and airy throughout, Il Frantoio is split over two levels. Located on the ground floor is a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and separate living room with entrance to a billiard/pool room which is an ideal space to enjoy your time with friends and family. Each room has a separate entrance leading out onto an expansive garden terrace perfect for al fresco dining on those balmy summer nights. Also on the ground floor are two bathrooms, one internal with a bathtub and an external bathroom with WC and shower which is accessible from the pool/garden area.

The kitchen is fully-equipped with oven, gas stove top, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer and all the necessary utensils to ensure the seasonal organic produce you find at the local fruit and veggie store can be turned into an amazing meal. Adjacent to the kitchen through a small archway is the dining room with stairs leading to the upper level. Continuing in an L shape direction from the dining room is the lounge area with large flat screen TV.

On the first-floor of the villa, you will find three good-sized bedrooms - a master bedroom with double bed and adequate wardrobe space, a king single bedroom and a third bedroom with three single beds which opens out onto a large panoramic terrace. The main bathroom is also located on this level.

Should you wish to book an authentic Italian experience, we can arrange for a pizzaiolo to come to Il Frantoio to demonstrate the art of Neapolitan pizza making, whilst you savour the results! It is also possible to request a chef to provide some or all of your meals, or to arrange a daily housekeeping service.

There is air conditioning in all bedrooms plus internet Wifi.

The quaint town of Sant’Agata sui due Golfi is walking distance from the villa and offers several great family-run restaurants, gelaterias, fresh pasta shops, fruit and vegetable stores, mini-markets, bakeries, butchers and fishmongers, coffee bars and pubs. There is secure parking available for up to 2 medium-sized vehicles. We recommend a smaller sized vehicle for stays at the villa.

Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Capri are all within easy reach during a day trip, or you could visit must-see attractions including Pompeii or Herculaneum. If you are a keen walker, there are many walking trails to appreciate the beauty of the natural environment, ranging from gentle strolls to more strenuous hikes. The magnificent beach inlets of Nerano and Marina del Cantone are all within close proximity to the villa.

Il Frantoio is perfect if you are travelling with friends, or as a family with children and are in search of somewhere peaceful, spacious and where you can spend time either at home relaxing by the pool, in the garden or with some friends over a game of billiard. Alternatively you may optimise on the ideal location of the villa which gives you the opportunity to explore the local area with ease.
