La Casa di Assunta is a fantastic find! Located in the very heart of the historical centre, this spacious 3 bedroom apartment has been recently renovated and offers all the comforts of an inner city lodge. It is the ideal place to stay if you are wanting to explore Naples on foot.

This classical style apartment offers three spacious bedrooms, two double bedrooms both with ample wardrobe space and one twin bedroom. One of the double bedrooms has a quaint Juliette balcony that overlooks the adjacent Monastery of Santa Chiara built in 1310.

The sun dappled apartment enjoys full natural light throughout the day and is a mere stones throw from the main sites of the historical centre including Spaccanapoli, Piazza Jesù and Piazza Bellini, famous for its bars and nightlife. Quaint artisan shops, local Neapolitan pastry stores, delicatessens and more are all located close to the apartment.

La Casa di Assunta is located on the first floor of a residential building with lift access and measures approx. 120 square metres. The spacious apartment offers a separate kitchen, lounge and living room. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary essentials to prepare a home meal and includes a four hob gas stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer.

The dining room is furnished with a lovely 6-seater wooden dining table and is located adjacent to the kitchen, while the lounge room is quaintly furnished and enjoys a balcony that overlooks the Monastery. Here, you can gaze out over the city, people watch and soak up the local Neapolitan culture. The lounge room is furnished with two reading chairs, a three-seater lounge and flat screen TV.

There are two newly renovated bathrooms for your comfort equipped with wash basin, walk-in shower, WC and bidet.

La Casa di Assunta is located at the epicenter of the historical centre and is adjacent to the 13th Century monastery of Monostero di Santa Chiara and only minutes from all the key sights of the city.

By day, the surrounding streets are filled with shops and markets, with many pizza restaurants blending into the graffiti filled streetscape. At night, the area comes to life. There are people strolling. There are people eating. There are even people moving furniture.

The neighbourhood of the historical centre itself feels like a small and picturesque village within the city. The atmosphere is very lively with small narrow streets offering a mix of residential and retail with markets, craft shops, museums, churches, cafes, bakeries, pastry shops and excellent restaurants and pizzerias. There's a real 'buzz' to the place.

San Gregorio Armeno is only a 8-minute walk from the apartment, and is the epicentre of Italy’s Nativity scene tradition. Neapolitans flock to this street in the lead up to Christmas, however all year round the shops along Via San Gregorio Armeno are open and make and sell both the detailed Nativity structures and the many figurines that inhabit them.

Spaccanapoli is also a short stroll away and is teeming with life. There are plenty of artistic and cultural attractions to visit nearby including San Gregorio Armeno, Piazza del Gesù, Piazza San Domenico and entry to the must see Roman-Greco underground city of Neapolis.

La Casa di Assunta is well-connected to the city’s other cultural and historical splendours, with Piazza Garibaldi, the location of Naples’ central station, only a 7 minute walk from the apartment.

Naples Capodichino Airport is a short 20-minute drive away.
